Raised Patio Finished
Landscaping Project Completed

Patio
The block paved patio, ramped paths and retaining wall have been completed on our latest landscaping contract in Malvern. A steep bank was excavated to acomodate two straight retaining walls reaching 1.8m high at their tallest point. a curved wall was then constructed to allow the new path to ramp down to the original garden path.
Hardcore stone fill was then laid in layers and compacted behind the walls to make up the level for the patio. Ontop of this the block pavers were laid in a random pattern. The retaining walls were then rendered ready for decoration.
Gate Piers
The front gate piers at the property were damaged by heavy snow load during the harsh winter weather of January 2010, rendering them unstable. They were demolished and replaced like for like, using new reclaimed bricks and new reconstituted stone pier caps.
Please see our landscaping section for more photos of this project during and after construction.
